Because you asked, Verity Blue Studio & Gallery Shop is now selling replacement earloops and mask ties for our 3D Face Coverings. We are offering ear loops and mask ties in three sizes. The child size bungee elastic comes with one set of safety release toggles.
On Tie Options
Tie options really are personal preference. Many mask wearers do not like ear loops, and are happy to have alternatives. One thing we have noticed, is that it is possible to get a better fit using a tie that wraps around your head, compared to the fit with ear loops.
Another reason we prefer the around the head ties (either Bungee or Paracord), is that it is possible to pull the mask down under your chin while not in use, or wear it around your neck. Much more convenient than hanging it from your ear. Our own family members do not find a huge difference in comfort between the nylon Paracord (non-stretchy) and the elastic Bungee Cord. Both work well for us.
If you style your hair, you may prefer ear loops. If you have worn face coverings with ear loops and they work well for you, ours are soft and non-irritating.
