Kathryn Kaiser - Artist & Director

In 2018 we completed our studio & gallery. We now have an opportunity to share this space with you.

COVID 19 Update

Because of current restrictions surrounding the Covid-19 pandemic, Verity Blue Studio has suspended all workshops, classes and drop-ins. We are doing safe visits only. If you wish to come, send us an email and we will arrange a wee tour. We are requiring face coverings at all times while indoors, and a limit of five of your family members or your circle at one time.

Located in Central Ontario, in picturesque Coldwater Village.

Verity Blue Studio is located outside the picturesque village of Coldwater, in Simcoe County Ontario. Our property is situated an hour north of the Greater Toronto Area. We feel privileged to reside in Lake Country; on the Trent Severn Waterway, between Georgian Bay and Muskoka Lakes.

This beautiful new studio and gallery was built in 2018 as an addition to the main residence. The project was designed by Kathryn and built by her partner, Warren Bennet and Derek Scheffel of Scheffel Construction. Verity Blue Studio serves as Kathryn’s studio and gallery. See our photo gallery here.

We will be announcing events and exhibits, and welcome you to host your own workshop and/or exhibit.

Our services include individual and group instruction, workshops, retreats and exhibit space. See more details on what services we are offering here. We will also host an evening artist drop in, life drawing gatherings and plein air days. Child minding will be available on site for those who need.

The studio will be available to other artists and instructors who would like to host their own courses or events on our premises, for a reasonable cost. Stay in touch for updates.

Land Acknowledgement

Verity Blue Studio would like to acknowledge that the land on which we reside is the traditional territory of the Anishinabewaki, Haudenosaunee and Huron-Wendat people. This is John Collins Purchase (1785) and Williams Treaty (1923) territory. We are committed to respecting what we have been given, lessening our footprint here, and sharing this place with whomever we are able. We also understand that our land acknowledgement does not begin or end here. For more information see this primer on land acknowledgement.
