Frequently Asked Questions
About Our Studio

Drop us a line, or send a suggestion in the contact form below.
Please note that we are an inclusive (and scent free) facility.
Where are you located?

We are at 105 Orr Farm Rd, Coldwater, ON  L0K 1E0. The closest intersection is Moonstone Rd and Highway 12. See our Contact Us page for the Google Map.

What are your business hours?

We are open between 10am and 3pm Wednesday to Saturday, and from 11am to 3pm Sunday by chance, or by appointment. To avoid disappointment please call or contact us ahead and let us know when you will be visiting.

Am I able to pay in person?

Yes. We accept Apple and Google Pay, Cash, Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover and Interac Debit cards at our studio. Please make prior arrangements with us if you are planning on paying on arrival.

How do I purchase your artwork?

If you are interested in buying a painting or drawing, it really is best to see the work in person. For a more complete look online, see Kathryn’s portfolio site at kathrynkaiser.ca. Please contact us to make an appointment to view. If you would like to purchase online, that is fine also. Get in touch and we can make arrangements. We take Apple and Google Pay, cash, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, JCB or Discover and Interac Debit cards. Let us know which pieces you are interested in, and which size prints you would like.

Where do you ship your products?

We currently ship anywhere in Canada, the United States and other select countries. Products in our Studio & Gallery Shop are shipped Canada Post Expedited™, unless you order one or two of our 3D Face Covering Samples which are shipped Canada Post LetterMail™ (about twice as slow) with no tracking. You may also safe pick up at our studio in Coldwater, ON.

Help with cotton face covering sizing?

We have 5 sizes of face coverings: child size, adult small, medium, large and X large. See more about our sizing (with measurements) here.

I’m confused about the face covering ‘scoops’.

We create our face coverings without nose wires either with or without scoops around the eyes at the top of the mask. The scoops are good for smaller faces, and help prevent your mask from creeping up into your eyes. More on construction here.

Which face covering tie is best?

This is most definitely personal preference. Our children prefer the bungee cord (as do I), but if you have long hair the ear loops may be best. The nice thing about the bungee or the nylon cord, is that it is easy to hang your mask around your neck if you need to slip it off while you are out. More info with photos here.

I would like to find out more about silk and virus filtration

Silk has electrostatic properties, is naturally water repellent, and has antimicrobial and antiviral qualities as well. For more info with study links etc., see our page the Filtration Properties of Silk here.

What is your lead time on custom products?

We wish we had a consistent answer for this question. We are working very hard to get our products out within 10 days of your order. Occasionally this gets pushed back because we are busier than usual, or need a personal day off. Add to this that we will always avoid the studio if we are not feeling well.
