Life Drawing at OMAH
Kathryn will be facilitating another six-week session of life drawing in Orillia this fall and winter, at the Orillia Museum of Art & History. This session begins September 19th and will run until December 12th, 2024.
If there are enough registrants for our next session, we would love to offer two classes on Thursdays. One class would be in the afternoon from 1pm-4pm, the other in the evening from 6pm-9pm. Currently we have only enough people for the evening sessions.
If you are interested in either one of these time slots, please do register as soon as possible. We won’t be able to run both sessions without enough bodies.

Using nude and costumed models, participants will learn gesture drawing, anatomy, proportions and mass while trying different mediums such as charcoal, paint, ink and mixed media. Lessons also include using your non-dominant hand to draw, two-handed drawing techniques and blind contour drawings. Basic supplies are included, and participants are welcome to bring their favourite materials to work with.
