A Bit About Verity Blue Studio & Gallery
We completed construction of our home addition and studio in 2018
Verity Blue Studio & Gallery is located outside the picturesque village of Coldwater, in Simcoe County Ontario. Our property is situated an hour north of the Greater Toronto Area. We feel privileged to reside in Lake Country; on the Trent Severn Waterway, between Georgian Bay and Muskoka Lakes. This beautiful new studio and gallery was built in 2018 as an addition to the main residence. The project was designed by Kathryn (kmk design) and built by her partner, Warren Bennet (Warren Bennet & Sons Contracting Inc.) with Scheffel Construction. This space serves as Kathryn’s studio, as well as her gallery. See our photo gallery in this link.

Land Acknowledgement
Verity Blue Studio & Gallery would like to acknowledge that we reside on the traditional territory of the Anishinabewaki, Haudenosaunee and Huron-Wendat people. This land is John Collins Purchase (1785) and Williams Treaty (1923) territory. We commit to learn everything we can about this area and the process of colonialization here. Secondly, we vow to respect this place as well as those who came before us. Thirdly, we promise to work on lessening our footprint, and sharing our resources whenever we are able. We also understand that our land acknowledgement does not begin or end here. For more information see this page titled Resource List: Land, Treaties, and Land Acknowledgement
