Have a look at some frequently asked questions related to our studio, and our classes and workshops. If you have a question you do not see on the list, please drop us a line in our contact form. Please note that we are a scent free facility.
Where are you located?
We are at 105 Orr Farm Rd, Coldwater, ON L0K 1E0. The closest intersection is Moonstone Rd and Highway 12.
What are your hours?
We are open between 10am and 3pm Wednesday to Saturday, and from 11am to 3pm Sunday by chance, or by appointment. To avoid disappointment please call or contact us ahead and let us know when you will be visiting.
Where do you ship your products?
We currently ship anywhere in Canada and the United States only. All products in our Studio & Gallery Shop are flat rate Canada Post shipping, and artwork will be priced accordingly. You may also safe pick up at our studio.
How can I purchase your artwork?
If you are interested in buying a painting or drawing, it really is best to see the work in person. For a more complete look online, see Kathryn’s portfolio site here. Please contact us to make an appointment to view. If you would like to purchase online, that is fine also. Get in touch and we can make arrangements.
We take Apple and Google Pay, cash, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, JCB or Discover and Interac Debit cards.
Many of Kathryn’s paintings are available as prints. Let us know which pieces you are interested in, and which size prints you would like.
How do I register and pay for classes?
On the side bar of this page (and a few others) is a registration scheduler linked to Square payments. Here you can register for courses and pay online. We also sell gift cards. If you have any issues or questions, please contact us. You will be able to register and pay directly through us, and pay by credit card, debit or cash. If you are on our mobile site, the link to the registration page is here.
Do I need to have previous experience or training?
Absolutely not! The best way to learn anything is from a blank slate, but every artist must muster courage in the studio, even very experienced artists. We are all on this journey of creative discovery.
Where do I find the materials list for my course?
We will have a Student Login page on our site set up very soon. This page will only be available to past and present registered students. Here we are able post materials lists, links and other helpful information.
For now we will be emailing all participants your materials list. Watch in your spam folders, just in case.
For some workshops we will be supplying all required materials. We will inform you of this in advance. Please reach out if you are not sure.
Where do I buy supplies?
We do have some supplies here at the studio, so please don’t fret if you are not able to find everything on the list.
What else will I need to bring?
Bring the required art supplies (we will email materials lists) and an apron or smock. We have concrete floors, so soft foot ware is recommended. If you are taking a painting class, gloves are highly recommended (available from any hardware store).
We have tea and coffee for those who would like, but if there anything else you wish to bring, feel free. We have a UV filtered water system.
We do have a small number of table top and standing easels, but if you have a small portable easel you can bring, it would be appreciated.
If we are not doing a full day workshop with lunch included, you may wish to bring a snack. That is fine as well. We ask for the children’s workshops that any snacks be nut free.
Am I able to borrow and/or rent supplies?
Yes. We can most certainly make arrangements for this. Most times we will have to charge an additional fees for materials. Please let us know prior to your class or workshop if you will be needing supplies.
For some workshops (i.e. Workshops for Kids) we will be supplying all required materials.
I do not wish to pay online. Am I able to pay in person?
Yes. We accept Apple and Google Pay, cash, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, JCB or Discover and Interac Debit cards at our studio. Please make arrangements with us if you are planning on paying on arrival.
What happens if I have to cancel?
If you need to cancel, we ask that you give us a minimum of twenty four hours notice for classes and workshops, and five days notice for retreats and weekend workshops. We will do the same.
We can either give you a refund if the cancellation is within our parameters, or defer your payment to another class. Your choice.
