3D Face Mask Patterns
I am including a free PDF download to the patterns I drew up for our 3D Face Masks. They are a little crude, and apologetically do not come with instructions, but I will include a link to a tutorial that I found helpful. Obviously, alter the sizes if you need to.
The seam allowance on these patterns is 1cm or approximately 3/8″.
For our own masks, I made the liners slightly smaller than the outer layer, so that the fabric would not pucker close to our faces. We chose not to make our masks with a filter pocket (also because we didn’t like the feeling of the fabric too close to our faces), but that is optional as you will see in the video.
I apologize I have not had a chance to make an instructional video, but this one is pretty good. YouTube link here.
